HYDROGEN SULPHIDE (H2S)
To successfully pass this training, delegates must be capable of showcasing proficiency in the following skills:
- Operating personal H2S detection equipment, including performing necessary checks.
- Responding promptly to an alarm.
- Donning and operating an escape breathing apparatus (EBA) with a mask, including conducting checks, within a 30-second timeframe.
- Donning and operating an EBA with a hood, including conducting checks, within 30 seconds.
- Connecting to a pressurized cascade breathing system while wearing an activated EBA that has been properly donned.
- Disconnecting from a pressurized cascade breathing system while wearing an activated EBA that has been properly donned.
